Automatically unlocks and locks the vehicle based on key distance to the vehicle. Simply walk-away to lock and approach to unlock (without pressing the button) 2023+.
The approach unlocking feature automatically unlocks the doors when a smart key is detected within 2 m of the vehicle. The doors on the approached side of the vehicle unlock, and the door handles deploy. Pulling a deployed door handle completes the unlocking and alarm system disarming procedure. The hazard warning lights flash twice, and the door mirrors unfold in confirmation.
The walk-away locking feature automatically locks the doors and tailgate when:
- The driver's door has been opened and closed, and:
- The smart key moves beyond 2 m of the vehicle.
- The smart key is outside of the vehicle for approximately 6 minutes.
