Configurable Ambient Lighting opens up the full 30-colour palette on vehicles that shipped with a fixed or limited set. Pick the colour and shade from the touchscreen and it's saved with your profile. The lighting hardware is already in the car; this activates the control.

Common questions

My car only shows a few colours. Is that the hardware?

Usually not. The lighting is the same; the limited palette is a software setting on lower packages. The VIN lookup confirms your build.
